We believe plants can
change a place.
Not just how it looks.
They can soften architecture. Change the air around us. Bring shade where there was heat. Give a hard space a sense of life. Make a room feel calmer, a terrace feel cooler, a building feel more human.

Our Story
A Leaf Wall
began with that belief.
Our founder, Akshaya, had always been drawn to plants — not simply as beautiful things to look at, but as living systems capable of changing the environments around them.
She saw an opportunity in the spaces between architecture and nature: walls that could breathe, terraces that could become gardens, and built environments that could hold more life.
What started with that curiosity grew into Leafwall.
Today, we work across private residences, hospitality spaces, restaurants and larger landscapes, bringing together design, horticulture and execution under one roof.
The scale may change. The question doesn't:
How can this place become better with plants in it?
Philosophy
Four ideas we keep returning to
01
Place
Every landscape begins with the specifics of where it is — the architecture beside it, the light it receives, the soil under it and the weather it has to survive.

Founder & Principal Designer
Akshaya studied B.Sc. agriculture before pursuing an MBA in Agriculture Business. Growing up with a farmer for a father, she learned early to see plants as more than something that grows around us. She grew up caring for them, talking to them, and watching her father tend to every part of them with patience and affection.
That relationship with plants became the beginning of A Leaf Wall. She believes every space — a home, hotel, a restaurant or a workplace — can be made better by making room for living things. Her work is rooted in a simple idea: that wherever we live, there should be a little more green, a little more air, and something alive to grow alongside us.
“The role of a landscape is not simply to make a space look better. It is to make the space better to live in.”
In Their Words
01/03
“They didn't simply design our garden. They completely changed how we experience our home and put the most love in the garden.”
